About Orklord
Orklord is the monicker for Rich Rogers, one of the hosts of the RPG podcast Canon Puncture. you can find out more about this show here: www.canonpuncture.com.
Orklord has been an avid gamer since the mid-80s. He cut his teeth with Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition, Palladium Fantasy RPG Star Wars d6 and Shadowrun. In college, Orklord began his Gamemastering career, starting with AD&D 2nd Edition, but moving to Vampire and Werewolf. His campaigns are usually long-term, with a D&D game lasting 18 months, a Werewolf game lasting 14 months, and a Vampire game lasting almost seven years.
Orklord’s favorite RPGs allow vibrant characters and creative and collaborative stories, but aren’t heavy on game mechanics. His current favorite games are Lacuna, Part 1, Burning Wheel, Inspectres, Don’t Rest Your Head and he still has a soft spot in his heart for the World of Darkness games.
This is Orklord’s game design journal. On this blog, you will find the first thoughts for his game ideas and his steps to shape them into actual playable RPGs.
